Words from our family.
Decades of stories from the parents and dancers who have called Ballet Arts home.
Maeve LOVES ballet class with you!! This has been Maeve's first classroom experience (of any sort) and we have loved the structure and loving approach you have. It will be hard to find a program like yours, one that focuses the students on the dancing NOT the costumes, we love you for this!
We are most proud of Melissa's twelve years at Ballet Arts and most appreciative of your recommendations in her college applications. None more proud and fortunate is Melissa, who has had not only dance teaching at Ballet Arts, but also lifetime guidance and countenance. We'll certainly miss our Ballet Arts routine, we'll cherish the video recordings, we wish you ever growing number of students and continued success, and we'll always be all too honored to count Melissa as one of your graduates.
I just wanted to share an update on River as she grows as a ballerina. She recently auditioned for a ballet production in San Antonio, The Firebird, and she was casted as the lead ballerina for her age group. I 100% know this is due to the training she had at your school in New York. I am very proud of her and we miss you all at the Ballet Arts!
Gemma asked me to send you this email to let you know that she auditioned for the part of Annie in her theatre camp and she got the role!! She (and we) are over the moon excited about this huge accomplishment. Thank you all for your love and support of Gemma this past year — your dedication to the art of singing and performing was just what Gemma needed. A success for Gemma and for the Ballet Arts Family, which we are so proud and grateful to be a part of for so many years.
We appreciate all your efforts to keep everyone safe, dancing and having fun during these times.
Ballet Arts and Company, beyond words to express what we were privileged to share at shows this weekend and dress rehearsals I observed. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you give and do to make this such a well run, creativity rich year round performing arts experience for Sophie. Take a bow and let the tears flow!
I just wanted to send over a little note of gratitude for all that you have done for my daughter. I was so pleased with the performance last night. Not only Ally's piece but all your students. It was amazing to see my little pee wee up on the stage. I have to admit, I was beyond nervous sending her to rehearsals and then on to the big stage, but the moment I came into rehearsals and seeing Ally sitting in Lia's lap on stage with her, my heart melted. There are so many dance places to choose from in Westchester and I am SO glad we chose Ballet Arts as I believe there is a special kind of love there and exudes such a 'family atmosphere.' Thank you, thank you, thank you.
We were at Sunday's show, along with many other family members, and they were all blown away. My mother-in-law in particular is always so impressed by the 'teaching' part of it. Many other schools don't make such an effort — especially with the younger kids. Charlotte just loves to dance and has learned so much. She is very proud to know the ballet steps that she has learned so far. We will definitely be back next year!
In class yesterday was Lauren and you gave her your full attention to fix and improve her poses. Lauren was so excited, she cried out to me 'Mom, I am improved!' and even showed me a few poses. I have never seen her so proud of herself. She loves Ballet. THANKS A LOT for teaching with such passion, I appreciate it deeply.
We cannot thank you enough for such a wonderful program. You, your daughter and the lovely young women you've involved with classes have been excellent instructors AND role models for our daughters. We enjoyed music lessons for the boys as well. You run a first class CARING business and I'm so grateful Ballet Arts was part of our lives. THANK YOU!
My daughter is three years old and spent the year with the Ballet Arts family learning ballet. As a mother of two older boys, this first 'girl' experience was one of the most beautiful things I've witnessed. The fact that she asked every day if she had ballet speaks volumes about the love of dance Ballet Arts instilled in her. The attention to detail, support, and encouragement made our family feel truly cared for. We look forward to watching her continue to grow with Ballet Arts for years to come.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful program. I can only imagine how much hard work and planning went into making the recital such a special experience. Rose didn't have the easiest start, but seeing her on stage made every challenge worthwhile. The teachers were incredible — kind, patient, supportive, and inspiring. Their encouragement helped us keep trying, and we are so grateful for their guidance and care. We look forward to many more years with Ballet Arts.
